Chado Workshop Experiencing the tea ceremony
Chado (The Way of Tea), also known as the Japanese tea ceremony, is one of the most popular and authentic traditions in Japan.

You can experience this ceremony in a traditional tea room of a certified chado school in Asakusa in the heart of Tokyo.

During a 90-minute tea ceremony workshop, participants will have a meditative and insightful time as they learn the essence of this unique Japanese tradition.

OUTLINE OF THE PROGRAM:
10 minutes: An introduction video while enjoying a cup of cherry-blossom tea.
20 minutes: A main traditional tea ceremony conducted by the instructor.
45 minutes: A hands-on lesson on how to make a bowl of matcha tea.

Four sessions are held (10am, 12, 2 and 4pm) Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Because seats are limited, a reservation is required.
